Oahu
From January 26 till February 5 we stayed in Honolulu, on Oahu island. The house we stayed at was located on the outskirts of the city, in Manoa Valley, and at night we could see the lights of Wakiki. The backyard was like a tropical botanical garden, and we had every day fresh oranges from the tree. Near the house were hiking trails to a waterfall.
We did a variety of trips, hiking Diamond Head, visiting the Missouri battleship, Wakiki, Chinatown, the botanical garden, and the Punchbowl. We went snorkeling to Hanauma Bay on the southeast coast, visited Waianae on the southwest coast, Waialua Valley on the northeast coast, and Kailua on the east coast. The snorkel picture were downloaded from the web, but are representative of what we saw.
