Conner in New Jersey (3)
On Thursday, August 16, we sailed on the Hudson River, and the next day we went to High Point State Park in the north-west corner of the state where we climbed the monument (220 ft) and did trail work. We clipped shruboak and brambles and reblazed the SRT (Shawangunk Ridge Trail) from aqua to blue. On Saturday (8/18) Conner decided he didn't really want to go into the city after all. Instead we visited two national parks: the Thomas Edison National Historic Park in West Orange, and the Great Falls National Historic Park in Paterson. We finished the day with playing croquet. Conner became a truly mean player! Sunday we biked to Piermont.
